Notifications not pushing?

[Android Central Question]

Heyya. Galaxy S8. Had to use maximum power saving the other day to make sure charge lasted as I had forgotten charger at home. Since then though I've been having issues with notifications. Some apps work fine but others won't update until I open the app. Not sure what to do really.

Is any apps sleeping in device care ?

Already registered. Just forgot to sign in beforehand. No, and I had tried turning off any of the battery saving modes to see if that would help and it didn't. Tried restarting phone to see if it was just being dumb. And no apps are set to sleep.

Are any of those apps listed as Battery Optimized in the system settings? If so, try turning optimization off for them.

They were, but if they were, they would've always been so I don't see how it would cause an issue now. Unless switching from medium batt performance to max and back again really changes that much.

Try going to the system settings menu, tap the menu button in the upper right corner, and then Reset All App Preferences.

That also didn't work. Uninstalled the app and it's fine now. Data and battery life have also been taking a dive. May just reset it all.

Sometimes a factory reset is good if things are acting up.
