I switched from Samsung Galaxy S21 and am missing convenient interface features, including one-touch bluetooth and wifi access. Are there shortcuts that I can use on Pixel 8 pro?

There are tiles in the notification area for them. I use them all the time. Does this help?

Also keep in mind that you can short tap or long-press those buttons. Short-tap of the Bluetooth button will toggle it on or off, while long-press will bring up the system menu. Short-tap of the Internet button will bring up a quick-access window for your mobile data and wi-fi toggles, while long-pressing it will bring up the system menu.

Sadly, still no NFC button, unless I'm missing something?
I know there are other ways to do this, but with something like NFC I'd rather not cede that level to an unknown-quantity of some sort...

There's this app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.id.colby.nfcquicksettings
You can set it as a tile, but It doesn't function as a traditional tile. Instead it takes you right to the NFC setting for turning it off/on but still faster than going through the settings menu.
