Phone not charging like before - HTC E8
Hey people
I brought my phone from Hong Kong, a HTC E8 brand new in Dec 2014.
Since then, I have rooted the phone and put on a Nova Launcher. Everything's been fine, battery life & charges quickly. I haven't messed about with the phone for a few months i.e. new mods or changes.
About 3 days ago, I noticed when charging my phone, it charges really slowly, like 3% in a hour! Even left the phone charged overnight on 60% and 7 hours later it was on 92%...! I noticed it does charge a bit quicker when the phone is off but not as quick as before. I have tried new micro USB cables & mains plugs rated at 1.0A & 2.0A but can't see no difference.
Battery life seems to hold as normal so I am wondering is the issue with the USB port or the software? The USB port looks clean...
