Ouch. Just my VHO, but the first photo (edited one) is way over processed for my taste. It looks like a cartoon or painting. IMHO, the original photo looks better, though still over saturated with a processed look.
To each their own taste of course, however, to me, the "problem" that I'm seeing now it seems is that every new phone camera is way over sharpening and over saturating the photos more and more.
Not being critical if the cartoon look was your goal. Art is in the eye of the beholder.
The late, great, Ansel Adams once said "nothing is more disturbing than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept".
