Pixel 2 XL judder when scrolling?

Can anyone with a Pixel 2 XL tell me whether it's a common issue for the screen to judder when scrolling slowly? Had a play with one in a shop and it seemed pretty distracting. The smaller Pixel 2 scrolls very smoothly. Wondering whether it was an issue with that particular handset or if it's an inherent problem.

No judder or lag on mines

Seems like a problem with that specific phone. Essential also had some hardware problems like that where some units didn't scroll smoothly.

Thanks. Otherwise the screen looked fine, they had it next to an iPhone X and there wasn't much in it really with the Apple only coming out trumps thanks to it not juddering. Got a Pixel 2 already and loving it but finding the reduced screen size a bit limiting.
