Hey all,
This is targeted specifically at those who have accepted the Verizon 4.3 update, either the OTA or via Kies (although that doesn't seem to be available yet). I'm trying to determine if Verizon has removed Knox (particularly the bootloader component) from its release.
This would be exceptional for any number of reasons, since it's been included in all of the other carrier releases, but most importantly for custom ROM loading purposes.
1. Can someone (preferably someone whose phone wasn't rooted prior to the update) boot into Download (Odin) mode and check the information shown there against this 4.1.2 data?
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SCH-I535
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: No
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
I'm specifically looking for any additions to the list (ex: Warranty: 1) Please note any changes.
2. Can someone use a file manager like ES File Explorer: http://market.android.com/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop and perform a search from / (the root directory) for 'knox'?
3. Can someone look through all of the built-in apps for anything mentioning Knox?
Thanks!
