Problem getting notifications in my hearing aids

On my S20 the feature worked great. When I got a call or text I got the sound in my ear instead of through the phone and I could answer my phone from my hearing aid. Now I get some notification sounds for text or apps but not all, and on the phone it will begin a half ring in my ear then go back to the phone and I have to answer the call on my screen. I'm sure it's some setting that didn't transfer when I upgraded to the new phone, but I'll be damned if I can find it. Any ideas?
