I am setting up a new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
With my Phone and Messaging apps, I want to use Google Contacts app (instead of Samsung Contacts).
I went into App settings and chose the blue Contacts (by Google)... the "Set as default" option says: "In this app."
I then selected the orange Contacts (by Samsung)... the "Set as default" option says: "In other app." I also removed all permissions this this app.
However... when I open my Phone or Google Messages apps, the profile pictures for many of my contacts are old pictures from the Samsung Contacts. I do not see the profile pictures that I created in Google Contacts.
How can I switch completely to Google Contacts? Should I delete the Samsung Contacts app?
