problems with google play store on rooted kindle fire hd

I've rooted, installed all relevant docs and got the play store on my device. On my first use it won't let me download any apps at all. Anyone know what I've done wrong or have any idea how I do this ?

What error message does it give you? I remember when I installed it on my Kindle, I had to set it as the default app store.

Btw, I deleted my Otacerts.zip file by accident. Can you PLEASE send me yours!
