SORRY SCRATCH THIS QUESTION. EARTHANDFIRE78 why is there 3 dif. Recoveries I can download? I know 1 is not for the ov but what is the difference between the 2 which 1 do I download

Did you download the zip file, if so that is only a falseflash and must be done in recovery manually; but it only for people that cannot get out of a recovery boot-loot. If you downloaded the VM70-ZenGarden-Touch.img make sure that the file extension was not changed to .txt if so change it back to .img.

No it stayed at .img it just wont install keeps giving me errors

The File most likely got corrupted during the download, delete and try downloading again; but not over 3G.

The out of memory errors should be solved by a simple reboot.

The things in the works for the Recovery:

1. Limit the touch function to just the buttons and not the whole screen. May choose to go with the JellyBean CWM Touch Interface, but on our small screen may not be piratical.
2. Selected options UI to detail of what function well do.
3. Allow user to chose default Backup location.
4. Add support for image Backup restore (NOTE: This may not work with most image backups).
5. Add function allowing user to chose what to Backup.
6. If low on SDCard space if user chooses to make a backup, Recovery well go to Delete Backup Menu before continuing with backup.
7. If user choose to partition the SDCard through Recovery, user well be prompted to backup all files and folders onto users computer before continuing.

Reporting on ICS VM670 version. Backup, Restore working fine, touch buttons work, full wipe works great.
In the package install menu all selections are mixed up. they arent what they say they are. the manual install is "install with reboot" install with reboot is "install with gapps" install with gapps is "install update.zip, and i think install update.zip is "Manual Install".

Just found out that from the non ics version can't restore a backup made with the ics version. It'll finish the restore but when it boots it says something about uid mismatch and too many FCs to get through

Looks like the Battery % is not being shown properly on my phone. It shows "Batt: 0%" even though my phone is charged 50%. Very nice job on the fixes!!!

Because of Windows LG Driver problems I'm most likely going to stop development of the ICS recovery. Windows cannot see the adb service for the recovery because it's mount differently, COT as well cannot be seen by Windows for adb service.
