As someone else said, animal fur is sooooo much improved! I'm really happy-my cats hair no longer looks like an oil painting when i take a pic of her.

Only had less than 24hrs to play around with the camera but so far i'm really impressed. This alone makes it worth the upgrade for me.

Yes, that does look much improved from what would happen with my S10! Thank you for sharing!

I traded my Pixel 6 for an S22 Plus because I just couldn't take the terrible finger print sensor anymore. I knew the camera would not be as good, but I was shocked at how bad it was. I have never had a Samsung phone, but this was their flagship, and with so many people buying it, I thought how bad could the camera be. Well, I found out. Here is a comparison of photos taken with my S22 and my three year old Pixel 4XL. It's like night and day. And again, this is a three year old Pixel phone. The top one is the S22

I am sorry you are not happy with photos with Samsung.I don’t personally use my phone primarily for pictures.I use it for day to day photos and as a phone. Each persons needs are different..I don’t have a problem with my camera on my S22ultra.When I travel or it’s a special occasion I use my DSLR camera.there are settings you can tweak on Samsung and photo software.

I edit all my photos in Lightroom, but that's not really the point. I have a Sony A1 for serious photography work, but my point is I can't believe Samsung has not figured out how to make good basic photos. I guess I was just too spoiled by the Google phones...
