S4 Recognizes as Camera only on PC

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I have an S4 that when I hook it up to my computer, it is only read as a camera. On my notifications panel it is shown as connected as a media device. I am trying to figure out to download music to the phone. Thanks from a technology impaired guy.

Welcome to Android Central! When you swipe down the notification shade, tap that USB connection notification, and tell us what you see. Does it give you the choice between MTP and PTP? Make sure MTP is selected.
