Hey everyone

My partner has just got a Samsung S7 FE, it arrived this morning and it was working perfectly fine.
He has just noticed on the screen there is a square box around 2-3cm from the edge to the middle that looks pixilated.
It wasn't like this earlier, there's a 2-3cm space from edges that looks perfectly clear but then the middle of the screen looks pixilated/dotty, we have reset the tablet back to factory settings and the weird box has vanished and screen looks perfect again but wanted to know what could have caused this?
Is it a fault or setting somewhere.
Only way to describe it is the things inside the box you could see the individual pixels and the outside boarder(2-3cm) looked perfectly fine.
Would be grateful if someone could shine some light on this as if it's faulty we will need to arrange a exchange.

Forgot to add the box was slightly shaded(lightly grey/dark)

Sounds like they somehow activated a zoom/magnifier glass and either didn't move the box or it got 'stuck'. This can usually be found in the Accessibility settings (or triggered by the S-Pen actions, but that should have hovered alongside the pen cursor).
