Hi i have samsung A5 2016.the phone info app show it country china color gold but its color is white more over its model show country carrier hongkong TGY. Is that set orignal or fake. Plz share your experience

Welcome to Android Central! In Settings>About Phone, what's the exact model number listed? Does the phone also have a sticker on the back, or do you have the original box? If so, what model does it specify there?

It's not that uncommon for a seller to flash a different region's firmware to a phone in order to make it more compatible. Unfortunately, this can sometimes also cause glitches, since the a given phone doesn't always work well with other firmware.

Is the model number on the sticker different from what you see in Settings>About Phone​?

No both are same. I wana to know that why samsung launch so many model of same phone like In galaxy A5 2016 sm-5100, 5000 510f etc

It's usually a regional thing -- they often make different variants for different regions of the world.

I still suspect that the seller flashed a different firmware before selling the phone. But I probably can't help you confirm it.

Thanx a lot it region show hong kong. Is its good quality phone
