samsung mesmerize 3g network not working

I cant get onto the internet for my phone unless i'm on wifi. The 3g on the status bar only has the up arrow green. The down one is grey. SOMEONE HELP. It happened out of nowhere and its driving me crazy!!!!

I've had that happen to me as we'll. Try restarting your phone and see if that helps.

No guarantee that it will work, but try dialing *228 and hit send. It will update your preferred roaming list. My wife's mez was have sms issues after the latest update and that fixed it. It's worth a shot.

I just noticed this thread wasnt for my infuse haha. But hopefully the same thing?

yes...*228 works across all US Cell phones (and maybe other carriers as well, but I can only speak for US Cell)

For some reason US Cell didn't recognize my phone and wouldn't let me on 3g, took it to service center and they had to call in. Tech got it squared around.
