Screen and Maps draining my battery more..how to resolve..?

I'm using Micromax Canvas A1 android one device running Marshmallow 6.0.1. The battery standby time was good but from the past one week it is draining very fast. when I check the battery usage stats, it shows Screen and Maps consuming more power. Screen consumes 44% and Maps consume 35% of battery power..what to do and how to resolve this..?

Try Settings, Apps, All, Maps, and select Clear Cache and Force Stop. If the trouble starts up again later, get back to us.
Force Stopping is harmless....opening the app again will restart it.
