SDK and NDK Question.....

So I write apps, for a side gig. I was under the impression that to code and deploy apps for android 14, I had to use the 34.0.5 SDK and the 26B SDK.
When I sideload to test, on my Samsung Galaxy s22 (Android14, UI6) I get a message "This app isn't compatible with the Latest version of Android. Check for an update or contact the apps developer"

sideloading on Android 13, no message. The app runs fine after tapping OK. What am I missing?
