[Solved]New Battery Won't Charge

I just bought a 'new' battery for my Samsung Tab S 10.5 on eBay. The old battery would not hold hold a charge any longer after several years of use. The replacement battery was list as new and appeared to be so. After swapping it out, the new battery showed 22% charge. It began to quickly DISCHARGE after I plugged it in to charge. Down to 17% in a matter of minutes. When I boot the tablet, the charge icon has a red 'X' in the menu line, indicating that it is not charging. I've tried a couple different charging cables. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Just solved my own problem. It evidently MUST be plugged into an actual USB charging block. It will not charge when plugged into a monitor or computer USB port. Evidently a power supply issue.
