T-Mobile Galaxy S2: volume button aggressively turns off by itself

i have a Tmobile Samsung Galaxy s2. Okay my issue is The volume seems to randomly turn itself down to the lowest setting my volume button starts going down lots of times recently. I start to listen to my music and all of a sudden the volume powers itself down for no reason. I press the volume up, it stays thetre for a minute then it goes down very aggressively and fast. I have avg antivirus and when i scanned it detected two medium risk apps whicjh i deleted and the problem hasn't went away.

I'm can't help in solving that, but am having the same problem, so any replies would be appreciated by me to.

The only thing I can think of is a bad volume button /switch.
Replacing it should fix the problem.
Remember a switch could appear to "click" just fine but the actual insulator can be compromised .
