Tempered Glass success with Otterbox or Unicorn Beetle Case?

I want a rugged case, will get either otterbox defender/commuter or Unicorn. Has anyone used a tempered glass protector successfully with either of these cases. Seems previous "tempered glass" threads are all over the place. Thought I might get a more concrete answer if any of the screen protectors work with these cases.

I'm using the Unicorn Beetle Pro with the GPEL glass screen protector with NO problems. No loss of sensitivity for touch and it adheres on ALL sides. Edge screen is still sensitive to touch and works fine.
