Question textures for GTA SA blurry on android (Motorola)

title says all, the textures for GTA SA r blurry and it's getting under my skin. my Moto G 5g has 8gb of RAM n i actually purchased GTA SA. does it have anything to do w/ the ram? tysm

I doubt it has anything to do with your RAM. The limitation probably has more to do with the CPU and/or GPU.

Turn your settings down.

I think turning the game settings down will only improve performance, rather than detail/texture. I doubt there's much more you can do with that specific device. If you want to play with the very best graphic settings and performance, you'd need a more powerful device.

You'll be getting about sd855 level of performance. Which was great in 2019, and should be better than what you have now.

I would be cautious about brands like Oukitel. Although they're a somewhat better known Chinese brand than some of the really obscure ones, they're still not going to provide very good support, and their quality control will tend to be subpar (so watch out for software or hardware glitches). The CPU is a Mediatek Helio G95, which is comparable to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G (a midrange chip): https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/qualcomm-snapdragon-732g-vs-mediatek-helio-g95. That'll still be better than the Snapdragon 480+ that your Moto G 5G has (assuming it's the 2023 version), but inferior to the current flagship Snapdragon 8 CPUs you'll find in top phones.

That has the Mediatek Dimensity 700, which is comparable to the Snapdragon 730: https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/qualcomm-snapdragon-730-vs-mediatek-dimensity-700. Still very much midrange.

The number of cores doesn't necessarily mean a lot. Plenty of midrange SoC's are octacore. You can do research using sites like the one above to get an idea of how a given chip compares with others.

San andreas was a PS2 game, so it was designed to be played on a 28" 480p display from across a room. The blurry textures might just be blurry because they are low res.
