The rooting process for my Galaxy Tab 3 is stuck at installing recovery with 100% complete... help?

I am currently attempting to root my tablet (Galaxy Tab 3) and the tablet has frozen at the booting screen (black background with white font "Samsung GALAXY Tab 3") and the status of my root says 100%, however in small print I see the words "Installing recovery..." Help would be greatly appreciated, I am using Kingo Root and am running android 4.4.2
