The screen on my S3 is not working

today my screen stopped working, I think its just the picture because when the phone rang and I swiped where the answer button normally is, the phone answered, but I couldn't see anything on the screen. If anyone can help that would be great.

If you haven't made any mods to the phone (rooted it, flashed a ROM, etc.) then it sounds like a hardware problem. You could try a battery pull, and see if that helps, but I doubt it will.

Samsung phones have a 1 year warranty. If possible, take it to one of your carrier's stores and see what they'll do. If they won't replace it, contact Samsung's tech support.
