I don't see any output charging rates that would make me want to purchase it. 18W PD is the starting point, shouldn't be the ending point.

It is possible. Both the charger and phone will charge. SLOWLY. Also the power bank gets pretty warm. The power bank can also be charged via USB C. I don't know if pass through wireless charging or charging of the power bank via USB C is recommended by the manufacturer. I wouldn't recommend it without looking at the manual or having the say so of tech support. Of course I didn't read the manual.

All considered it is an awesome charger.
