Transformer compass wrong

So i just got my new Asus TF. Love it so far except for the compass. It appears to be off using a couple different programs. One is a GPSmapping program and the other a straight compass. Any ideas or suggestions?

You need to explain your testing methodology a bit better before I can respond.

Well i first noticed that when using a gps app that it was not showing the correct direction. I then installed compass from the market. It too shows the wrong heading in both portrait and landscape modes. I was using gaia gps for the gps app.

I have to say on a very quick check in the house against the Desire HD (and physical compass) that the TF is giving same field strength and declination, but a bearing of about +80 degrees (ie clockwise) compared with the others.

Also noticed that I couldn't get calibration to complete. This thing does have a digital compass doesn't it. Didn't specifically look for it in the spec!
