Voice Commands - Texting etc

[Android Central Question]

I've had a new Sony stereo installed (xav-ax3200/3250) and have been trying to use voice commands to send a text message to my friend. After hitting the "microphone" icon and stating text "Bob Smith", it keeps giving me the same message - For help with that, you'll need to allow personal results in this car". Where do you make this change? I have a Samsung Note 10+ for a phone. Thank you

Should be in the settings for the head unit. Read your manual to find out how.

Welcome to Android Central! Open your Google app, tap your profile pic, then Settings>Google Assistant>Personal Results>Other Devices, and look there for the stereo.
