Why does my phone say IMS registration off?

[Android Central Question]

I have a Verizon S20 FE 5G phone. It's not prepaid I have a plan with them. But my phone hasn't been doing what it's supposed to. Like wifi call and text. But when I check my phones SIM status where is says IMS registration status it says off. Not not registered but off. What can i do to fix this? Also when I go to about phone it says unknown where my phone number is supposed to be.

A bad SIM? Try removing and reinserting.

Do you have a lower tier plan? That usually causes this
