Why does my samsung keep freezing?

Hi,

I have a Samsung S6 and now it is constantly freezing. It used to only happen now again but now it is constant. Most of the time it doesn't boot up and gets stuck on the load screen. I've tried formatting cache and factory reset but problem still persists. It even gets stuck in the bootloader. The phone isn't rooted.

Should flash stock rom or install custom rom? Any ideas what could be the cause? Thanks

If you're sure that the battery is not failing and causing trouble, it may indeed be worth reflashing the stock ROM.

I agree with belodion; you should consider reflashing the stock ROM. What version do you have?

Thanks for your replies. I asked the question, just made an account now. I don't think its a battery issue because I never had an issue with the battery before and it still freezes when the phone is still (i.e. battery doesn't get disconnected when moving ). It's version 6.0.1. I will reflash the stock ROM later this evening and see how it goes.

What software do ye use to do this?

I'm no Samsung user but I believe it's Kies or Smart Switch.
