Why is my data not working? Help!!

Hi, I'm kind of new to all this high tech jazz, but I'm smart enough to know when something's not working! I have had a mytouch 4G for a couple months, without a SD card, which probably isn't good. A couple days ago I got notifications saying that I have "insufficient storage" so I cleared some data on some apps and the notifications stopped. However, I no longer have 4G when im not connected to wifi, and I'm pretty sure I haven't gone over my data plan. I cant seem to find anything to fix it, help!!!!

Welcome to the forums, it's good to have you here. It may be time to do a factory reset.

P.S. It's just fine not to use a microSD card if you don't need the extra storage.
