Contacts Won't Load

I've had my Incredible for a little over a week now, and am loving it.

My only issue is with contacts. Originally, all of my contacts were backed up via BackUp Assistance.
Recently, I moved all of the contacts off of the "phone" and in imported them into Google.
After all of this my contacts worked, but were acting a bit slow.
Now, when I click on "people," none of the contacts load, with "loading" displayed.
What's going on here?!

The problem's gotten worse. Now everything is force-closing. When I tried to open the dialer, it said "process com.android.acore cannot load." When I tried to open my messages, it said "process com.android.mms cannot load" and eventually HTC Sense force-closed? What's going on? Do you think a factory reset would help?!

Well you can go online via pc and see if your contacts are all there. Just login to your gmail account and check the contacts list. Yes, I would factory reset will all those FC problems you're having.
