Im running cm7. i use go sms pro, but i recently went into the stock messaging app and saw that it was keeping 200+ texts. i set the stock app to delete old messages after 100 per thread. it didnt do anything even after rebooting my phone.

I also noticed on go sms pro there is no option to delete old texts automatically. I'm assuming if the stock app (which i dont use) deletes the old texts, then go sms will? there isnt 2 of every text i get stored on my phone (one for stock app, one for go sms pro) right?

I think if you clear data for the messaging app it will clear them all.

if i delete the messages from the stock messaging will it delete my text in my go sms pro texts
