Hi there. For some reason my phone will not stay on once it gets past the "media scanning" sd card phase. I tried a different battery, same result. I took out the sd card and now it stays on. What gives? I will say that I moved a lot of apps to the sd card last week to save room on the phone because it was running slow. I already had a bunch of apps saved there anyway. I was hoping it would run faster but it hasn't changed much.
Do I need a new sd card? If so, how do I save everything on the current sd card (my main concern is pics) if the phone won't stay on with the card mounted? This phone is almost 3 years old and I know I need a new one...but I'm trying to hold on as long as I can.
PS I've also dropped this phone in water about 3-4 times over the years, did the rice trick and it worked. Some things are a little quirky from the water but nothing major. The last time I dropped it in water was maybe a year ago.
