Music skipping

I am noticing quite a lot of skipping while listening to music on the stock audio player. I used iSyncr to add the music to my sd card. I am also running launcher pro plus. I have noticed that the skipping is drastically reduced when using touchwiz. Has anyone noticed this as well or can provide any help?

Is the skipping happening while you're not using the headphone port?


If it's skipping even when you're playing over speaker, there are a number of widgets that aren't well designed (though all of the LP widgets are alright) and can cause your music to skip while they update. You can find a couple of them by just watching your widgets and seeing what's updating while the music freezes up.

I believe the main culprit was the BattStatt widget. Thanks for the tip. The iSyncr rating widget was also causing some, so I canned that one too.

Yeah, Gauge Battery Widget was my culprit. Interestingly, I'm almost positive it happens with the 2*1 but not the 1*1 widget.
