My phone is still DI01 and my wife's phone got auto updated to 28. Her phone will no longer mount on Vista or XP. I've tried a couple of the fixes (debugging on, power off/on, etc.) to no avail. Just the stinking verizon foist I hated when I had a "dumb" phone and don't want now.
I just want to skip it all, root our phones and drop 2.2. Even if I have to get a card reader to load her's....
What I'm wondering.... While I am reading through the extensive and daunting posts on how to root my phone and the trails of difficulties others have encountered.... What I'm wondering is if there is something YOU would recommend I put onto my SDcard in case my phone gets grabbed in the night and gets its ability to mount chopped off.
Some preventative measure... Something.....?
