I still want to get the GN, I really do. And a month ago, had it been released then, I would have ordered it immediately no question. I probably will get it eventually, but I'm no longer eagerly waiting to pounce on it. I will honestly admit that the media hype was the dominant factor in my wanting this phone. However, it was the lag in release that gave me time to wrap my brain around the purchase and subsequently allowing me to realize that I'm in no hurry to upgrade my phone.
When did I realize this? Just a few seconds ago when I saw the report that it's announced, and my first thought was... "meh... I'll get around to it sometime in the next month." While a month ago I would have said to myself "Doh! Get on the phone and call VZW to order it!"
Crap, this means I'll just find myself holding out for the "Next big thing" around the corner.
