Help with Gmail app

So I havent been able to find any help regarding this, hopefully someone can assist me...

I use the gmail app, nothing else for email.

when i go into the app, i see the nice pretty list of emails in my inbox, fitted perfectly for a phone.

this is where the ugliness happiness....when i open an email...its as if its zoomed in and i have to scroll around the entire email to read it bit by bit. i have never been able to just open an email it have it fitted perfectly on the screen and zoom in when needed.

is this normal?? or am i doing something wrong? or am i just being picky? i have the font size in the actual apps setting set to normal. i dont see anything else to adjust.

someone pleeeease assist (and yes i intentionally opened this thread under samsung gnex, hoping other owners may help)

Mine fills the page as you want. Don't know why yours does not. There is a setting in Gmail for text size but even when I set to "HUGE" it is not as bad as you describe.

i tried playing with the text size, it still made no difference.

would a screenshot help out? ill get one in later on today

I have this same problem on many emails with images! Hope there's a fix
