Video playback on TV poor streaming and no audio

I shot a couple of short test vids (less then 15 seconds each) with the phone and played them back on the TV. The playback keeps stopping and on the TV it says preparing to play. I can't believe that my WIFI network is so slow as to cause buffering. Also, there is no audio when played on the TV but there is when played back on the device or over Kies WIFI.

I have a Samsung Blue-ray player and a Samsung TV.

Any ideas what may be happening?
