Anyone got a good recommend on a weather app? And not TWC.

It is starting all the time and draining my battery, seems like more after JB update. I just checked battery and it was 30% of the battery use.. The top of the list above screen... crazy. D

So... I deleted it.

Try 1weather or wusa radar. Both are pretty good and accurate!

I like Weather Underground. You can search the map for specific weather stations and forecasts, so it is far more accurate the TWC, which I hate. It's the only one I use, and it's free.

It doesn't even register in the battery status. I have it update every hour and when the app is opened. I also use the widget.

My top three would be.
1. Elecont Weather
2. Elecont Weather
3. Elecont Weather.

And Elecont Weather is also pretty good.

I mostly use the voice search in JB to take me to Google's weather or Google Now.

Another vote for BeWeather, very nice...I was looking at other weather apps, and found that they left something running on the phone when the apps themselves weren't running. BeWeather doesn't do that, it's either running when you're using it, and not running when you're not using it (assuming that you use the task manager to end it *smile*). Accuweather and others needed to have something running all the time for some reason, didn't matter if you ended the app with the task manager or not.

I tried Beweather and loved it. But I had to uninstall due to the app draining my battery
