When people call me, underneath their contact information, a city, state thing appears.. Exactly where/how is the phone getting this information from?

For landlines, it seems like the location is right because I'm pretty sure most landlines are in a public database, but when people call me from mobile phones, it seems pretty glitched.. it names cities not even close to where they really are.. which i'm sure is due to people turning off their public gps setting thing..

Is there a way to turn off this setting, I don't want to see it.

Program called city id.

Its pre installed comes with 15 day trial.

If you dont subscribe after that it should stop showing up

Just opened the program and noticed you can remove it.

Choose status then stop free trial. Then gives you an option to remove it.
