Note 3 Noob

Happy Holidays everyone! I have currently switched over to the Note 3 from iPhone 4S and I must say it's a huge change. However I want to learn more about modifying photos and I have been having a hard time finding a good app that will allow me to transparent the main photo so I can make edits over it. Any suggestions? Also I need more crisp, clear wallpapers for my device. Any comments and help would be greatly appreciated!

I recommend SnapSeed, it's really good for editing and has some automatic filters if you want a quick edit. For sharper wallpapers, you can either look for Note 3 specific wallpapers, or download pics that are 1920 x 1080 in resolution

Welcome to the other side.

Spanseed is a great app to get you started. Once you master it, there are a bunch of more involved apps. Pixlr Express is a very solid next step without being too overwhelming.
