Verizon Early Upgrade

I know they changed their policy on this earlier this year, but has anyone had success getting an early upgrade after the policy change?

My 20th month is coming up pretty soon and I want a Bionic or Nexus Prime depending on how the Prime looks.

Is there any consensus on when they will/will not allow an upgrade, such as months, etc? Or are they strictly sticking to the 24 month period.

the early upgrades were 12 months into your contract. at 20 months you will become eligible for you standard upgrade no changes there ...
