Why cant people call my groove IP number?

When I'm running GrooveIP, I can make calls from my google voice number just fine, but when people call my google voice number, it goes straight to voice mail unless I have google voice configured to forward calls to my virgin mobile number. Does anyone else have this issue?

Log into google voice and set your calls to forward to google talk (google chat). That's how you get groove ip to accept incoming calls.

Make sure you are not signed into GMAIL or Google Talk on a pc somewhere also.
