Root/unroot question

I have stock 3.2 and I want to root solely to use an app once then unroot. Is that possible? I want to get future updates that's why. By the way will we be seeing ice cream sandwich? The tablets hardware is more than capable.

there is no root method for 3.2 and I'm positive we will get the 4.0 ICS update because 3.0 basically is ICS.

Whenever Acer tests it and releases it or until a dev compiles a custom ICS ROM for this tablet...it will be a custom ROM before an official OTA.

uhh, there is a method to easily root stock 3.2 over at XDA.
