overall "color theming"

Wasn't sure how to categorize this, but with Android 11, I could customize My Google messages how I wanted to see them with the shape and color of my chat messages. With 12 they have removed a lot of the customization that was part of Google messages.

now with the default coloring it has changed the tinting of my screen. it tints to whatever the default color scheme is

Open Wallpaper & Styles and set it to basic color instead of Wallpaper Colors.

Tried Color Theming on my Pixel 5 and didn't like it. I'm sticking with the basics and the Dark Theme, standard icons and colors.

So far, the one thing on 12 I like and have had no problem with.
