Internal Storage Problem - Please Help!

Hello

I own a Huawei Asend g300 and I wanted to free up some space on my storage. I clicked on the storage button and it showed that my photos and videos were taking up more space than my apps. I found that to be very odd as I have over 160 apps compared with no videos and about 10 photos. Anyhow I started deleting my photos and deleted an album that contained two android pictures under the title "my album" and to my amazement the storage for videos and photos has now vastly increased to 1.55 GB compared with my storage for apps at 631 MB

Something is clearly wrong and I have no idea what to do? How can a phone with no videos and about 4 photos take up so much space compared with over 150 apps?

I'm also stuck with the same problem, I'm using a Huawei Y6, and it keeps on saying I have full storage, I have even when to the extent of deleting everything I had on the phone but still says the same thing, even when I have no apps
