kitkat to lollipop update failure

trying to update 4.4.2 to 5.0.1 but the OTA stops at 63% My wifi is solid this is the fourth time this has happened any help?

Is the phone fully charged when you begin ? Do you keep it plugged in and charging whilst updating ?

Yes phone is fully charged and its on AC charger during update attached is the screenshot

Have you tried rebooting before another attempt ?

all the time i have tried to reboot i even removed the sim and sd card it still cuts of at 63%

Have you had the phone from new ? Has it ever been rooted ?

negative its not rooted

Have you tried a wipe of the cache partition ?

jus wiped retrying the OTA update to advise on progress

Hi ian wiped the cache and retried the OTA attached is the snapshot of the screen at time of OTA sudden stop

Are you getting the update direct from the manufacturer or network provider ? There's other signs that's it's "glitchy".....Is 00:59:16 the time taken to get to 63%.....and yet it wasn't registering when 64% was reached ?
Are you downloading whilst carrying out other actions ? I tend to do that as an "isolated" task.
I can't think of much else to suggest....others on the forum may have a few ideas......other than that, maybe a factory reset would resolve the issue.......Sorry I can't be of more help.
