New status bar symbol Android 7.0! Please help identify.

Help me..
I've just updated to android 7.0 and I have no idea what this new symbol means or how to get rid off.

Someone please help me.

Also 'my places' has been removed.. why would they do this?

that is data saver being turned on. you can turn it off by going into settings and then data usage or by expanding the system tray toggles.

I have been trying to figure out what that bloody symbol was since about 10 this morning.. thank you so much. I have looking all over the net for that answer. 🖒
