Welcome to Android Central! So do you still need to know how to get rid of Nougat, or is this an irrelevant question since you're already buying an iPhone?

If the former, it'd help to know which phone you have. If the latter, then enjoy your iPhone, but be aware that iPhones are certainly not immune to update woes.

I find the xda developers site very informative in regards to firmware.

I recently came from using iPhones for many years to the s7 edge.

If you've not used an iPhone before then prepare yourself for a strictly sandboxed iOS experience resulting in a drastic drop in customisation amongst other user defined things.

No need for XDA if all you want is a former stock version on your Samsung device..

Neither XDA or the above-linked process is for the feint of heart, but it's a way to restore to the former "glory".
