I would caution anyone who does this to familiarize themselves with libel, harassment and invasion of privacy laws not only in your country/state of residence but in whatever countries/states the app is in use in.

Geez are people really this stupid and ignorant that they would participate in this? And if they are, they deserve whatever repercussions are coming their way.

This is shameful. What if someone rate your sister?? How will you feel then?? The girl you rate will be someone's sister. Take down the app if u have some moral values left in you..

whether or not the app maker will face any legal consequences if libelous statements are propagated using the app will depend on the jurisdiction where the victim resides and where those who read the libelous statements reside.
