So I agree with everyone this app is great. Feel like I'm a little behind the curve (hahahaha, used to have a blackberry curve!) as I just got it yesterday. Quick question, I have it configured to to a 1x2 matrix in each 1x1 square and I'm pretty happy with that.

However, I had downloaded a different gmail widget as opposed to the standard shortcut. It won't let me add the widget. When I go to individually configure the buttons, I get three tabs to choose from; apps, shortcuts and other. The "aftermarket" widget I installed isn't in any of those. Any ideas?

I don't believe you can add widgets to a multicon set, only apps/shortcuts.

I haven't figured out a way to add widgets to Multicon either. My guess (I'm no programmer) is that a widget has special properties and is like a mini application and shortcuts and app icons are just static place holders. Thus the name, Multicon for multiple icons.

However, it would be nice to put some widgets in a multicon format. Guess we'll have to wait for an update to see if this feature is even doable.

Yeah, no widgets other than what is provided (a few of the toggles for things like wifi).
